Alex's first mountain bike was a pretty scary little Cannondale hard tail, but she loved it so much and used it for a whole summer of trying to keep up with her friends in the Northeast Kingdom. She ended up buying a full suspension bike the following summer and replaced that weeks later when she discovered the bike park at Killington. She had a bike that for a couple summers, felt like it did it all. When she started riding at Highland bike park more, she realized she wanted to push herself more with jumps, drops and more technical terrain. She was a little late to the party with mountain biking; this will be her fourth summer on a bike, but she quickly fell in love and has had amazing friends to ride with and learn from. She is so addicted to Vermont summers.
