“Nicely Done, Kaden." Pinner Shorts Review from Grit and Gear

Pinner Shorts Review from Grit and Gear - Pinner Short Front View

The Kaden Apparel Pinner Shorts were reviewed by Grit and Gear on November 3, 2020. Minneapolis-based mountain biker and expert gear reviewer Marie Malinowski put the shorts through the wringer, testing them out in a variety of conditions. Here’s what Marie had to say about the cycling shorts:

  • Design: “The designer is a woman who actually rides singletrack.”

  • Performance: “The Kaden Pinner shorts are made for serious trail riding.”

  • Fabric: “The fabric blend makes for very comfortable riding in hot and humid conditions.”

  • Waistband: “Instead of the standard zipper-and-snap system, the Kaden Pinner’s waistband has a yoga-pant design. Just pull them on and secure with the hidden elastic drawcord for a customized fit with zero back gap…Is it comfortable? Very.”

  • Pinner Shorts Review from Grit and Gear - Pinner Short Back Shot Pockets: “The cut and size of the [side] pocket prevents the phone from flopping about on my leg when pedaling.”

  • Fit: “The Kaden Pinner shorts run true to size…They were not baggy, they did not restrict, and they didn’t make me look like I was drowning in a sea of Polyester/Spandex.”

  • Overall: “Nicely done, Kaden.”
