Burlington, Vermont: Kaden Apparel announced that they were one of six Vermont-based outdoor recreation brands selected to attend the Outdoor Retailer Summer market as an exhibitor with the Think Vermont booth. The Outdoor Retailer Summer show takes place in Denver, CO, over three days from June 18 through June 20, 2019, at the Denver Convention Center. The Think Vermont booth is just one effort that the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development and the State of Vermont Department of Economic Development are launching to help support outdoor recreation businesses in Vermont. The state recognizes the importance of outdoor recreation businesses as a vital part of Vermont’s lifestyle and economy. This is a major milestone for Kaden as the company establishes itself as an internationally recognized mountain bike apparel brand.
“We have a chance to help offset the registration costs at the show for five or six businesses that are new to this show via our STEP (State Trade Expansion Program) grants and group them under a Vermont-branded ‘tent’,” says Tim Tierney, Director of Business Recruitment and International Trade for the Vermont Department of Economic Development.
“Being able to attend the Outdoor Retailer Summer show is a huge opportunity for Kaden,” says Chelsea Camarata, founder of Kaden Apparel. “We’re grateful to the State of Vermont for sponsoring the Think Vermont booth, inviting us to attend the show, and being able to showcase our brand alongside a great group of Vermont outdoor businesses. Attending a show like Outdoor Retailer can be cost prohibitive for many small brands, so we’re thankful for the state’s efforts in supporting outdoor retail businesses in Vermont.”
This news comes on the heels of many recent accomplishments of the company, including:
